A month off in Mexico

CDMX, Oaxaca, Puerto Escondido, Baja

After a 3 year run in start up land, it was time to embrace R&R. New rule is 2 weeks for every year worked between jobs. Goal achieved retroactively. Decided on Mexico to continue the journey to bi-lingual. First big solo travel to CDMX, Oaxaca, Puerto Escondido and Baja.

Met a ton of amazing people, ate incredible food, tasted elite mezcal and really embraced what solo travel has to offer. The energy of Mexico, warmth of the people/culture, culinary scene, dancing, music and colors; intertwined into rich and diverse landscapes might make Mexico mi numero uno. CDMX is at the forefront of the food scene in the world. A lush metropolitan city drenched with culture and historical significance. Oaxaca City's artisanal scene combines art, textiles, ceramics, etc with amazing food and renowned Mezcal. Spent the bday in Puerto for the sole purpose of fish tacos and a cold Pacifico at the beach. Little bonus trip to Baja because, por que no?
